I started blogging as part of my coursework for a TAFE Diploma in Library & Information Services. It was quite good fun and when used for comment and reflection, it gave me an outlet for my opinions and interests.

So, this blog will be just that - somewhere for me to post my thoughts on absolutely anything that takes my fancy. As my interests lie in family history, reading, travel (armchair & actual), mixed media and painting faces you can expect some postings about those topics.

As for me personally, I am a single older sister, aunt to a niece and two nephews. I get along like a house on fire with my sister-in-law. As at December 2018 I have retired, so I am taking on some extra online art classes in 2019. I may post photos of my efforts or I may not - a lot will depend on my mood at the time.
